Local 3 Contract Proposals Summary

March 16, 2012

WAGES:
Substantial General Wage Increase each year of the Contract including waiters and waitresses
Profit Sharing
All commission rates shall be negotiated.
Increase commission rates in all Straight Commission Departments.
All Non-Sell Time shall be paid at vacation rate/departmental average.
Deficit wipe off in Straight Commission Departments.
Increase Commission rates in Hourly Paid Plus .5% Commission Departments.
Increase in Hiring Rates/Living Wage
Increase in Night Premium Pay.
Waiters and Waitresses to be eligible for GWI and Vacation Rates.

HOURS OF WORK:
Inventory: Twenty Year employees shall be exempt from taking inventory.
Taxi fare shall be increased.
Vacation rate to be paid for all inventory hours worked.

CONTRACTUAL BENEFITS:
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to be a paid holiday
Increase Personal Days for all employees.
25 Year Employees to receive Anniversary Date as Paid Day off each year of the Agreement.
Increase vacation schedules
Right to observe Chinese New Year.

SALES:
Eliminate ADR review standards.
Company to absorb all returns.
Deficit wipe~off in all straight commission departments.
Commissions to be paid on all Catalogue, On- Line, Internet and Bloomingdale's Apps sales
Back office discount shall not reduce commissions paid to sales professionals.

JOB SECURITY:
Job Security and Seniority Rights language to be negotiated.
Seniority Language in the matter of lay offs, vacation scheduling and vacation requests
Consultation Clause

STOREWORKERS SECURITY PLAN:
Increase Employer contributions to Storeworkers Security Plan.
Improve Benefits and extend SWSP Benefit Package to all Local 3 Members.
Sick Leave Day Benefits
Eyeglasses
Podiatry
Cemetery Plots at Cost
Death Benefits
Deductible Reimbursement Benefit to include spouse and dependant children
Negotiate language to deal with health care issues tied to Health Care Affordable Act requirements.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
All Disciplinary Notices up to and including last chance agreements are to be expunged from workers file after six months.

EVENING/WEEKEND AND CONTINGENT EMPLOYEES:
Vacation Time improvement.
Extend Retiree Discount to Eve/Weekend and Contingents.
Bereavement Pay Language.
Contractual Holiday Pay provided they meet the contractual requirements.
Compensatory Days.

DURATION OF AGREEMENT:
4 Year Agreement
